Based on previous Amnesty International campaigns surrounding sexual harassment of Women. This project aims to bring awareness about sexism and why it is wrong and bring the spotlight on trying to stamp it out of everyday life.
I wanted to illustrate a common saying that men justify other men's actions by saying ’she deserved it (to be sexually abused) because of what she was wearing’.
This poster illustrates the hypocrisy of the police in response to two events that occurred around the same time in the middle of a pandemic. As you can see there is no social distancing whatsoever in both pictures. However, the only event that had police presence was Sarah Everard’s Vigil after her death (left) and the complete disregard for the same at the outpouring of despair after The Duke of Edinburgh's Death.
This piece is all about men hiding behind the derogatory things that they say to women.
To illustrate the fact that many men hide behind their words instead of owning up and being a decent human being.
I decided to narrow my color scheme for one of my illustrated designs.
I wanted the color scheme to reflect the Amnesty International color scheme. So I changed the main colors to black and yellow.
